Employees; use of and need for parental leave, 2005-2013

This table deals with the use and need for parental leave among workers aged 15 to 65 with paid work for 12 hours or more per week. The table shows the number of employees who have children up to 8 years of age in the household. It shows how many of these workers have had parental leave in the year preceding the survey. In addition, workers without parental leave are indicated whether they did need it. Those who did need it were also asked what the reason was not to take parental leave. The questions are only asked to employees who are part of the household core. Data available, biennial from 2005 to 2013. Status of the figures.
