This table contains figures on employment (jobs, labour volume and part-time factor) in the care sector in the care and well-being sector per quarter. The figures can be broken down by the applicable branches of the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008) of the CBS and region (country, province and RegioPlus labour market region). For the determination of the region is based on the municipality of residence. The timing is always the entire quarter. For the determination of the AZW industries, the main activity (SBI code) of the company where an employee works. This may not be the only activity that a company undertakes. In the main activity “Other social advice, community houses and cooperation bodies in the field of well-being” (SBI Code: 88999) account is also taken of the collective agreement under which the employee is employed. Workers falling under CAO codes 0004 to 0300 or under CAO codes 0302 to 8102 are classified under ‘Other Care and Welfare’. Employees falling under another collective agreement code are classified under ‘Social Work (Other)’. A complete overview of all CAO codes can be found under paragraph 3. Previous figures have been revised due to the use of new, more recent sources. As of 24 March 2022, the municipality of Weesp merged with the municipality of Amsterdam. This municipal reclassification has been implemented in this table from the 1st quarter of 2022. This administrative change may have an impact on developments in these regions and an overview of all municipal changes can be found in paragraph 3. When are new figures coming?
