Environmental Measurement Locations National Monitoring Network Air Quality (LML)

The stock shows the measuring locations of the national air quality measurement network in Gelderland. The National Air Quality Monitoring Network (LML) ensures the continuous monitoring of the environmental quality in the air compartment. Measurements shall be used to assess ambient air quality against set standards, together with models, to support the general description of air quality on national, regional and local scales and to provide information on periods of increased air pollution (smog). The information is used for generic concentration Netherlands (GCN). In addition, there are some measuring stations that are not covered by the National Air Measurement Network (LML). These stations measure particulate matter for monitoring concentrations and assessment measures reduce particulate matter.
