Version of Region Meppel- Zwolle adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 3 October 2018. Meppel, Westerveld and the Wolden are part of the top economic region Zwolle. As a gateway to the North of the Netherlands and a link between the West-East and the North of the Netherlands, this region is one of the strongest growth regions in our country.
