Failure of vehicles by age; 1996-1999

Within the system of waste statistics, CBS conducts research to vehicle wrecks. The aim of the study is to arrive at a figure of the total number of vehicles to be dismantled in the Netherlands offered. This table provides information on the age distribution of the failure of the vehicles by vehicle category. The fall consists of the dismantling freed vehicles, export of mostly second-hand vehicles vehicles, as well as those vehicles which are outside the public to be used away. Data available from: 1996 When are new figures coming? Table has been discontinued. — From 2008 onwards, the definitions for determining the type of vehicle in the motor vehicle park tightened. To keep the numbers up-to-date similarly, the years 2000 to 2007 have been overhauled. The result of the overhaul is that a limited number of vehicles they belong to a different type of vehicle than before the overhaul and that some “unknown” vehicles are now known. Some of the available information could not be revised and therefore not fully comparable to data from the years 2000 and later, it concerns the years 1996-1999.
