Dataset description

This table contains the so-called from-who-to-who matrices of seven major financial instruments. The matrices shall provide information on the debtors/creditor relationships between sectors. A three-dimensional presentation provides an overview of financial transactions, price changes and revaluations, other changes in volume and balance sheet stocks and the sectors involved. The asset-side sector concerns the creditor and the debtor on the liabilities side. The different sectors are non-financial corporations, financial institutions, government, households and non-profit institutions for the benefit of households (IZWh) and abroad. Moreover, the sectors of financial institutions and government are still broken down by subsectors. Data available from 1999 to 2017. Status of the figures: The data for the period 1999-2014 are final. Data from 2015, 2016 and 2017 have the status for now. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
