Dataset description

This table provides information on the (technical) assistance, other than firefighting, carried out by the fire brigade. This is about — assistance in buildings (by type of buildings) — assistance in other places (by type of location) — aid by type — victims (killed and injured) — rescues (liberating persons) first aid to victims. Data on loos-alarm notifications are not included in the table. Also victims, rescues from, and first aid to firefighters in office are not included in the table. Finally, assistance provided by other corps (e.g. fire brigade) is also outside the scope of this table. The figures are available by country, province and municipal size group by population. For the year 2008, no data are available on fire and relief reports in the provinces of North Holland, Friesland, the North Netherlands, West Netherlands and the two municipal groups with the highest population. For the year 2009, no data are available on assistance reports in the provinces of North Holland, Flevoland, the provinces of East Netherlands, West Netherlands and per municipal size group. Data available from 1985 to 2013. Status of the figures: The data is final. Changes as of 20 January 2017: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
