This table shows the total cost of youth care by municipalities. The figures are available per municipality and can be broken down by type of youth care. This table has been compiled on the basis of data provided by municipalities to CBS in the framework of the Survey Costs Wmo and Youth. In the summer of 2019, the delivery mode of this data has been adjusted. Before that date, participating municipalities provided twice a year the costs in half a year. In the summer of 2019, one delivery point per year has been transferred, with the costs can be delivered over the entire previous year. The costs for 2017 could also be provided once again. In addition to this change in delivery moment, the details of the request have been adjusted. As of 2017, the categories ‘total youth aid’ and ‘other’ have therefore been added to the breakdown by forms of support for youth care. The category ‘Activities in the preventive judicial framework’ is no longer requested. From the 2020 request, municipalities have the possibility to provide “Total Youth Protection and Probation”. The provisional figures for 2021 are expected in the fourth quarter of 2022.
