Dataset description

This table contains figures on gross value added and remuneration of employees in the Netherlands, Belgium, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. The figures are available for various regional breakdowns. This information was compiled in the framework of two EU Interreg projects within the programme Germany-Netherlands and Flanders-Netherlands to make cross-border labour market data available. Data available from: 2000. Reporting period: Germany: 2000-2018 The Netherlands: 2000-2018 Belgium: 2003-2018 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Amendments as of 17 November 2021: The Dutch figures and the German figures for 2018 have been added. The Belgian data has been updated as part of the latest revision. The gross investment indicator has been removed. According to the new European regulation, a new estimation method should be used from 2018. As a result, data can only be compared at NUTS-1 level (countries/countries/regions) and the indicator has been removed from the table. Due to an error in the technical processing, incorrect numbers were calculated for the provinces of Gelderland and Flevoland. This has been corrected. Changes as of 1 July 2020: The figures for Belgium have been added. The Dutch figures for 2016 and 2017 have been added. The Central Statistical Office has recently carried out a revision of the national accounts. New statistical sources and estimation methods are used. This table shows the figures after revision. For additional information see paragraph 4. When are new figures coming? The new figures will be available in the second quarter of 2022
