Dataset description

This health map shows where the noise from the noise-zoned industrial sites (situation 2009) can adversely affect the quality of the environment and therefore health. This card shows the situation every day (24 hours). The amount of noise caused by the industry is displayed on the sound card in different zones. These are the calculated 50 dB and 55 dB sound contours of the average noise per day (LETM). The map shows only the health situation on site of the noise zone around industrial sites that are sunk under Wet Noise nuisance. If a home does not fall within a zone, the noise of the noise-zoned industrial estate in that house is less than 50 decibels on average throughout the day. Calculated sound contours LETM have been translated into GES scores in accordance with the Handbook on Health Effect Screening City & Environment 2012: 50-55 dB(A) = GES score 3 (free moderate); 55 dB(A) and higher = GES score 5 (very moderate). The Health Effect Screening (GES) method gives a score of 0 to 8 to the environmental health quality. These scores are based on the knowledge of the relationship between exposure and health risks. The noise load is calculated for individual companies. The combined noise load of several companies or road traffic, rail and/or air traffic is not determined. In reality, when combined with multiple sound sources, the noise load and therefore the health effect can therefore be higher.
