Dataset description

The figures in this table are from the Health Monitor Adults and Elderly 2020, jointly carried out by the GGDs, GGD GHOR Netherlands, CBS and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). The table contains percentages on indicators related to health, social situation and lifestyle of Dutch people aged 18 years or older. The difference between the RIVM and the CBS StatLine table is that the RIVM table also includes figures from topics on which only the GGDs have collected information. The CBS table only presents topics on which both CBS and the GGDs have collected information. See section 4 Sources and methods for an overview of the GGD and CBS topics. Data available from: 2020 Status of the figures: Final Changes as of 25-11-2021: The code used for the cluster of municipalities “Friese Wadden Islands” has been amended. The table explanation has also been extended to include links to the newly published Health Monitor 2012 and 2016 tables on RIVM StatLine. When are new figures coming? Every four years, new figures are available from the Health Monitor Adults and Elderly. The next update is expected in mid 2025, with figures for the year 2024. In 2022, an additional Corona Health Monitor for Adults and Elderly will be carried out, the figures of which are expected to be available in mid-2023. These new figures are published in separate tables.
