Households; children’s number, age class child, region, 1 January

Private households with children living at home in the Netherlands on 1 January by type of household, child number, age of the youngest and the oldest living at home child and region. The regions listed in the table are territories, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities. The regional totals presented concern aggregations of municipalities. In case of border changes that cross different regional borders, the division of the municipalities is grouped according to the most recent situation. For example: for the municipality of Vianen, which has moved from the province of Zuid-Holland to the province of Utrecht on 1 January 2002, it is grouped in the table in the province of Utrecht. Data available from: 2001 Please note: When selecting one-year municipalities from this table, a Server Error can occur with the message ‘404- File or directory not found’. The reason is too long a URL. The notification can be prevented by selecting all municipalities or by selecting municipalities in blocks (a to l, m to z). Status of the figures: All the figures in the table are final. Changes as of 26 August 2021: The final figures as of 1 January 2021 have been added. When are new figures coming? In the third quarter of 2022, figures shall be entered in the table as of 1 January 2022.
