In this table, the following data on housing construction is published: — the number of homes for which a building permit has been granted; — the number of homes to be completed; — the number of homes completed; — stocks on 1 January and 31 December; — the mutations of dwellings, housing units and recreational dwellings; — the stock on 1 January of capacity special residential buildings. These data are further broken down into the following regional breakdowns: — Districts, provinces, COROP areas, urban regions, metropolitan agglomerations and municipalities. Data available for the period 1988 to 2011. Status of the figures: The figures are final. When are new figures coming? This table was discontinued as of 29 March 2013. Reason for cessation: The data on changes in the housing stock from 2012 come from the BAG. To prevent trend breaks within one table, a new table series has started. As of 2012, the figures on building permits will be published in a number of other long-standing tables. For references to these tables, see section 3. Links to relevant tables and articles.
