Immigration and emigration; gender, age, nationality and region

This table contains figures on immigration and emigration of persons to and from the Netherlands. The emigration figures include the balance of administrative corrections. Figures on emigration including the balance of administrative corrections provide a better picture of the actual emigration than figures on emigration excluding those corrections. The figures on administrative corrections (administrative inclusions and removals) are also included in the table. The table distinguishes the following data: — Immi and emigration (including administrative corrections) by gender, age (on 31 December; 5 year groups 0-50 years and older), nationality and region. — Administrative inclusions and removals by sex, age (as of 31 December; 5 year groups 0-50 years and older), nationality and region. Data available from: 2010. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 2 May 2022: —The figures of a number of nationalities have been corrected for 2019. The correction is due to the availability of improved source files. The correction works in the totals of some continents and western nationalities. —Figures for 2020 have been added. Amendments as of 31 May 2021: None, this is a new table. This table replaces the Immi and emigration table according to various characteristics; region. See paragraph 3. When are new figures coming? In the second half of 2022, the final figures for 2021 will be included in this publication.
