Dataset description

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK) has asked PBL to issue an opinion on the opening of the SDE++ in 2020. The SDE+ has been the most important tool for stimulating renewable energy generation in the Netherlands since 2011. Within this scheme, the cost of renewable energy of various technologies is determined annually, referred to as the basic amount within the SDE+ scheme. In addition, the correction amount and the basic price are also important components of the SDE+ scheme. In 2020, the existing SDE+ scheme will be extended to the SDE++. New to this is that in addition to renewable energy production categories, CO2 reducing options other than renewable energy are eligible for subsidy. This ensures that the regulations and the methodology and therefore also the principles for the SDE+ are extended in such a way that they are also applicable to a wider range of CO2 reducing categories. The calculations for the basic amounts corresponding to the SDE++ opinions were made using the Unprofitable Top Model (OT model). These datasets of these OT models can download.
