Dataset description
This data is standardised for the provincial delivery INSPIRE. The EHS is a coherent system of natural areas of international or national interest aimed at safeguarding ecosystems with associated species. The provincial EHS is geometrically bounded at the parcel level in Fryslân. This is connected to the original boundary in the Zone Plan (2007), but with an update based on the new agreements relating to nature and the main ecological structure made with the empire. The legendary units “EHS Water”, “EHS Management Area” and “EHS Nature” are part of the EHS. “Nature outside EHS” and “Administration area outside EHS” are not part of the EHS.
