International trade; imports and exports of services by country, quarter

This table shows data on imports, exports and balances of services by companies and individuals established in the Netherlands broken down by different types of services and countries(groups). The types of services used by all EU countries from 2014 onwards are based on the Balance of Payments Manual 6 (BPM6). Data available from: 2020 Status of the figures: As of 2020, a redesign of international trade in statistical services has taken place. In order to enable time series and comparisons, it has been chosen to publish 2020 in both the new and the old way. 2020 in the old way appears in the 2014-2020 table and is modelled using response data and auxiliary data such as tax data. The first quarter of 2021 has been temporarily added to the table in this way. Now that the new table has been published with 2020 and beyond, this quarter is no longer available in the model way. As of 2017, the publication and revision policy of international trade in services has been revised. The figures on Dutch international trade in services are available on a quarterly and annual basis. Quarterly preliminary figures are available one quarter after the end of the reporting period. With the publication of a new quarter, the figures for the previous quarter and, if applicable, the other previous quarters of the year concerned are also adjusted by using new source material (further provisional figures). When four quarters of a year are available, an annual calculation is made on the basis of these four quarterly figures. This annual calculation will be available in the autumn of the following year. The annual calculation is then re-adjusted the following year, this time definitively. Even then, the quarterly figures for the year in question will be revised again. Changes as of 21 March 2022: The provisional figures for Q3 2021 have been revised to further provisional and the provisional figures for Q4 2021 and year 2021 have been added. When will there be new figures? The figures are available for the first time around 12 weeks after the end of the reporting period.
