Dataset description

This table contains annual figures on the labour force with divisions by (ordinary) municipalities. The municipalities are divided according to the situation on 1 January 2013. The numbers are three-year averages. The results of municipalities with less than 10,000 inhabitants have not been published for reliability reasons. The figures of the old years change each year because the basis of the publication each year is the municipal classification of the new added year. Data available from 1996/1998 to 2011/2013 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 26 February 2015 None, this table has been discontinued. Changes as of 27 June 2014: The figures for 2013 have been added. Because the municipalities were classified in this update on the basis of the regional classification of 1 January 2013, this causes some changes. Finally, the figures for the period 1999/2001 may have changed slightly due to a slight improvement in the weight used. When are new figures coming? This table has been discontinued. The update of 27 June 2014 was the last update of this table. New revised tables on the labour force were published on 26 February 2015. This revision of the statistics of the labour force has two parts. The definitions have been adapted to the internationally agreed definitions and data collection has been improved by being the first statistical office in Europe to survey via the Internet. For more information on the revision, see the link to the press release in paragraph 3.
