Dataset description

This table shows quarterly figures on labour market mobility of 15 to 65 year-olds in the Netherlands. The change in labour market position is reported between the first moment of surveying (starting period) and the labour market position three months later (end period). In this way, this table describes to what extent people have switched from labour market position after one quarter. Three labour market positions are distinguished; active labour force, unemployed labour force and non-working population. For compiling figures on labour market mobility, a different weighing method of the EEW applies than for other EBB tables. This allows the figures in this table to differ from other EBB tables. Data available from 2003 1st quarter to 20 143 rd quarter Status of the figures Figures based on the EBB are final. Changes as of 24 June 2015: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. This table is followed by employment participation; changes in labour position per quarter and year. See paragraph 3. New revised tables on the labour force were published on 26 February 2015. This revision of the statistics of the labour force has two parts. The definitions have been adapted to the internationally agreed definitions and data collection has been improved by being the first statistical office in Europe to survey via the Internet. For more information on the revision, see the link to the press release in paragraph 3.
