Dataset description

In this table you will find an overview of the subjectively experienced livability of the residential neighbourhood and the experience of neighbourhood problems based on the Integral Safety Monitor (IVM). The figures presented refer to forms of nuisance, threat and physical decay that respondents believe may occur in their neighbourhood, about their views on physical facilities, social cohesion and the development of the neighbourhood, about their judgement of the residential environment, the liveability and safety in the neighbourhood, and about their own commitment to the neighbourhood. This always concerns data on the population aged 15 years or older, unless otherwise stated. The national figures and the figures by neighborhood characteristics are included. The neighbourhoods are classified according to 6-digit postal codes as described in the table Quarters and Neighborhoods 2004-2010. Due to changes in questioning, research design and/or context, the IVM data will not be comparable from 2008 onwards to data from other sources, such as the Safety Monitor Rijk (VMR); 2005-2008) and previous security and/or victim surveys. The survey was conducted in the last quarter of the year. Data available from 2008 to 2009. Status of the figures: The data is final. Changes as of 3 March 2015 None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
