CBS collects business data from 1985 on thrombosis services and from blood banks. Thus, the population corresponds to the entire business class according to the standard business classification as used within CBS. In addition, as of data year 2004, an institutional decision has been made in place of a functional approach. That means that in contrast until previous data years only data from companies are included with the activity described above as the main activity and are companies with this activity is not included as a secondary activity. Until 2004 are for example, thrombosis services that are part of a hospital. Data available: 2004-2008 Status of the figures: All figures in the table are final.
