Dataset description

This table contains the data compiled by CBS for the Monitor Note Space 2006. The Minister of VROM asked the Spatial Planning Bureau (RPB) and the Environment and Nature Planning Bureau (MNP) to monitor the actual spatial developments. The planning agencies have now been merged into the Environmental Planning Agency (PBL). This is in the light of the goals set out in the Space Note. In total, more than 60 indicators have been developed for this monitor. Scientific criteria, such as the presence of sufficient, reliable and relevant data, have been leading in the choice and operationalisation of the indicators. CBS has provided counts to residents and homes for a large number of indicators. In many cases, development is monitored within certain, well-defined areas. The planning agencies have provided the outlines of the different areas to CBS. The results are presented in this table according to the 2006 municipal breakdown. In addition to 2006 data, those of 2000, 2002 and 2004 were also calculated within the municipal limits of 2006. This allows the data to be better compared over time, regardless of municipal border changes, the abolition of municipalities or the formation of new municipalities in the intermediate period. Data available from 2000. Frequency One-off publication Status of the figures. Final
