Dataset description

This publication gives an overview of the development of the unemployed and the working population, the non-occupational population, employment rate and unemployment rate. Results about the unemployed labour force are available according to both national and the international definition. The data is by age and gender published in the form of three-month averages. In addition to the original figures on the labour force according to national definition is also published figures that have been corrected for seasonal influences. The data in this publication are mainly based on the Enqu^te Labour force and connect to the Labour accounts, an integrated system of data on labour with a complete statistical picture the labour market can be given. Since the Enqu^te labour force is a sample survey, results on the labour force an inaccuracy margin. For the it is therefore better to assess developments about a for a longer period of time, for example, the development of the the past six months or the development of the same period a year earlier. Also when looking at the developments about longer however, periods of time must be taken into account inaccuracy margin. This table has been discontinued. Data are available from the three-month period December 2000/February 2001 to March/May 2010. Reason to stop: Until May 2010, the average unemployment rate of the previous three months published. Changes in methodology allow more current figures they are produced. CBS publishes monthly as of July 2010 unemployment in the previous month. The new data can be found in the StatLine table “Employed and employed labour force per month” see for further information, section 3. In 2005, the national accounts were revised on the basis of conceptual amendments to the European Union’s international directives (ESR 1995). In addition, new statistical insights and new sources included in this revision 2001. Release policy Monthly, in the third week of the month, the publication was supplemented with data for the most recent three-month period. The seasonal patterns of the labour force were monthly, with the availability of new source data, updated. Because of this previously published seasonally adjusted figures could be fractional change it. When are new figures coming? This table has been discontinued. There are no more new figures.
