Dataset description

The WAV (Law on ammonia and livestock farming) has defined sensitive and highly sensitive areas. Provincial States have designated highly sensitive areas on the basis of the law. These are areas susceptible to acidification and/or fertilisation that are part of the provincial EHS. In a 250-metre zone around the very sensitive areas, there are restrictions on (intensive) livestock farms. Adopted by PS on 1 July 2009; Subsequently, there were amendments adopted by PS on 16 December 2009 and 16 February 2011.
