Dataset description

The Regional Archive Nijmegen has a large collection of newspapers in Nijmegen. Of a large part of this, the scans and metadata have been made available as open data: The Gelderlander (period 1856-1945) and the Provinciale Geldersche and Nijmeegsche Courant (PGNC) (period 1814-1942). For copyright reasons, not all newspapers are included in the dataset. On the website of the archive you can also find: De Gelderlander, edition Nijmegen (period 1946-1956), De Gelderlander, Nijmegen edition (period 1957-2006, only in the study room of the RAN) and De Wijkkrant for Nijmegen-Oost (period 1972-2008).
