Dataset description
Lnight, the average noise level of all night periods (23.00 to 7 p.m.) of one year. The legend of the service shows the influence of a highway on the area. Green stands for little noise, purple for a lot of sound. In the card service only the noise level is recorded above 55 decibels. Lower noise levels are not displayed. The map shows all highways managed by Rijkswaterstaat. Sound maps of other roads and other noise sources can be found in provinces and a number of municipalities.
