Not the financial sector; finance large enterprises 1977-2010

This table provides insight into the balance sheet data and profit accounts of large companies with legal personality (N.V., B.V., Coöp) of the non-financial sector in the Netherlands. The data is compiled from a direct survey of the large companies (balance sheet total greater or equal to EUR 23 million). For convenience, the term “enterprise” is used here; however, factually correct is ‘group of companies’ as defined by CBS. Data available: 1977-2010. Status of the figures: The figures up to 2010 are final. Changes as of 15 March 2013: Textual adjustments have been made. From 2011 onwards, the criterion for large companies will be laid with a balance sheet total greater or equal to EUR 40 million. This information can be found in the Non-financial sector table; finance large enterprises (SBI 2008), in which the balance sheet total has been reduced to EUR 40 million to 2000. This table was discontinued as from 15 March 2013 because a new series is available from 2000 on the basis of a balance sheet total greater or equal to EUR 40 million.
