Occupational mobility by professional classes, 2003/“04-2011/”12

The data in this table refer to the occupational mobility of people. It is determined whether people work in another profession one year later. These are so-called transitional tables. This means, for example, for this table, that figures for the year 2007 refer to the change in occupation from 2007 to 2008; figures for 2006 refer to the change in occupation from 2006 to 2007 etc. The appeal was determined on the basis of the Standard Occupational Classification (SBC 1992). This classification includes a professional code consisting of five digits. If, according to this classification, a person is employed in another profession one year later, there is professional mobility. With the help of the SBC 1992, professions can be classified by professional class. This refers to the first 2 digits of the professional code. Professional mobility is about the profession in the first employment of people. Occupation mobility only covers jobs in which a minimum of 12 hours per week is worked. The data in this table are based on the Labour Force Survey (EBB). The EBB is a study carried out by CBS to collect information about the relationship between people and the labour market. In this context, characteristics of individuals are linked to their current or future position in the labour market.
