Dataset description
This table shows the number of people who use care with residence (AWBZ-financed) in kind at reference date for which an own contribution has to be paid. These are only persons who are registered in the DPA at reference date.

Status of the figures:
The figures are final.
Changes as of 7 March 2018:
Figures for 2014 have been finalised and the table has been discontinued.
As of 1 January 2015, the General Act on Special Medical Expenses has been replaced by the Long-term Care Act (Wlz). Due to the policy changes and changes in the administration, it is not possible to continue the existing tables on the use of AWBZ care. Figures on Wlz from 2015 will be published in new tables (see paragraph 3).
