Dataset description

This table shows the number of persons who have an indication of care with accommodation at reference date (AWBZ/Wlz-funded). This care was financed until 2015 by the Algemene Wet Bijzondere Ziektekosten (AWBZ) and from 2015 by the Long-term Care Act (Wlz). Only the Wlz-indications are included in this table and partner stays and the Primary Stay subsidy scheme is excluded. The preliminary quarterly figures are published on persons who have ever been registered in the Basic Persons Register (BRP). The further provisional and final figures are published for persons registered in the BRP on reference date. The figures shall be broken down by base and self-employed. In this table, the abbreviation zzp is used for both care gravity package and care profile. Data available from: 1st quarter 2009 Status of the figures: The quarterly figures up to 2019 are final. The 2020 quarterly figures are further provisional. The figures for 2021 are provisional. The figures in this table are based on data from the Health Care Indication Centre (CIZ). Changes as of 9 February 2022: The provisional figures for Q4 2021 have been added. Changes as of 22 December 2021: As of 2021, self-employed persons have been added for GGZ residents. When will there be new figures? The provisional figures shall be published no later than 6 months after the end of the quarter. No later than 1 year after the end of the calendar year, the figures shall be further provisional. No later than 2 years after the end of the calendar year, the figures shall become final.
