Pet heat card Province Zeeland

The standardised calculation methodology for heat stress was adopted in early 2019. This card is drawn up according to the standard. The heat stress card shows a feeling temperature, the Physiological Equivalent Temperature (PET) in the outdoor area. For the correct interpretation of the map, it is also important that the ambient temperature is known as the starting point. For this purpose, the data from the KNMI station Vlissingen are used on 1 July 2015 between 12.00 and 18.00. The average temperature over that period is 28.3 degrees Celsius.
