Dataset description

This table contains data on the physical working conditions of the Dutch worker aged 15 to 75, by professional level and professional direction. The table presents figures on power, noise and vibration, hazardous work and hazardous substances, working posture and screen work. Data available from: 2014. Status of the figures: Figures in this table are final. Changes as of 20 April 2022 The annual figures for 2021 have been added. Changes as of 31 July 2020 A change has been made in the ROA-CBS 2014 profession classification (BRC2014). In the new version of the BRC2014, the profession ‘0551 Managers z.n.d.’ is no longer classified at vocational level ‘unknown’, but at occupational level 4. This changes the results of professional level ‘unknown’ and occupational level 4 for the years 2014 to 2018. Changes as of 29 August 2019 The figures belonging to the category ‘occupational level unknown’ were incorrect for 2014. For 2015 to 2017, these were unjustified as unknown, insufficiently reliable or secret. This has been corrected. In 2018, the question about dangerous work was changed. For any kind of dangerous work, the frequency is asked. From this, it is inferred whether workers are exposed to at least one form of dangerous work. These figures are in the new subject folder “Dangerous work (from 2018)”. As a result of these changes, the figures on this subject from 2018 onwards are not comparable to those of previous years (2014-2017). Figures on the old subject ‘Dangerous work (until 2018)’ will no longer be supplemented from 2018. Changes as of 11 April 2019 The variable dangerous work was measured in a different way in 2018. When are new figures coming? The figures for the previous year will be published in May.
