Dataset description

This table contains figures for the inhabitants of the Netherlands, Belgium, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia for various regional divisions. A breakdown by gender and age is available for the different classifications. This information was compiled in the context of an Interreg project within the programme Germany-Netherlands and Flanders-Netherlands to make cross-border labour market data available. Data available from: 2008 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 16 February 2021: The figures for 2020 have been added. Changes as of 26 June 2020 The figures for 2018 and 2019 have been added. The Belgian regional classification has been adjusted according to the reclassifications in 2019. The age classes have changed: instead of a division into 10-year classes, there is now a division into 5-year classes. A correction of the reporting year has been made for the German dates. Changes as of 10 April 2020 The figures for the entire countries of the Netherlands and Belgium have been added. When are new figures coming? The new figures will be available in the second quarter of 2022.
