Dataset description

For 7 sub-areas of land, road and hydraulic engineering (GWW), CBS makes series of price indices. They follow the development of the cost components of wages, materials and equipment (tools and machines). Changes in general costs and profit & risk are not in these figures recorded. The sequences are calculated from the price evolution of the labour factor in the construction industry and of a package of materials and equipment contained in the GWW is used. The choices of the material and equipment product groups are based on the materials used and the machinery and tools used the reference projects. For the calculation of the weightings of those the prices of product groups used in the budgets of those projects were mentioned. The price evolution of the material and material component shall be based on selected statistical product groups Producer price indices. Starting from 2009 indices the new product group classification shall be used prodcom format 2008. For the development of the wage component, use is made of the development of CAO wages statistics, contractual labour costs (CLK) in the construction industry. Of the following products in the GWW, price index series are calculated and published: 1. Construction of sewerage; 2. Construction of roads with open pavement (streetwork); 3. Construction of closed pavement roads (asphalt); 4. Carrying out earth-moving activities; 5. Carrying out hydraulic engineering works; 6. Creation of works of art (e.g. viaduct); 7. Construction of railways. In addition to these series, a series is also calculated for the GWW in its totality. This is a weighted average of the above 7 sets, supplemented with the price development of electrical equipment. Of all the published series, the mutations are also included. compared to 4 quarters previously published. The weighting of the parts in total has been used the results of National Accounts (NR) of 2000. Data available from: January 2000 Frequency: discontinued Status of the figures: All indices are final. Changes compared to the previous version: The indices in this series are unchanged from the previous version. When are new figures coming? This is the last publication of this series on the basis of 2000 = 100. With entrance of the January 2011 figures, a new series has been published on the basis of from 2005 = 100.
