Dataset description

This table contains figures on the average price evolution of the sales prices of Dutch industrial products with the base year 2015=100. Monthly price developments are shown for both domestic and foreign sales. The data are further subdivided into a number of branches according to the Standard Business Classification (SBI) 2008 of CBS. Data available from: January 2012 Status of the figures: The figures for the last 5 months are provisional in this table. Change as of 30 March 2018 For the first reporting period (2012), incorrect year-on-year developments have been published. These have been removed in this version of the table. For all periods, incorrect weighting coefficients have been published under the section ‘Aggregation of industries 2nd digit’. These have been corrected in this version of the table. Changes as of 29 June 2018 Due to an error in an underlying series, the figures of industry B (mineral extraction) for the reporting period September to November 2017 were incorrect. This has been corrected in this version. The external sales and total figures of the sectors 33 (Repair and installation of machinery), 36 (Water pipelines) and E (Water and waste management) for the reporting period January 2012 to November 2017 were not reliable enough to be published. These have now been replaced by a point. Changes as of 28 September 2018 In industry 1032 (Fruit and vegetable juice industry) and 29 (Car and trailer industry), a number of monthly and annual changes were incorrectly not marked as unknown, insufficiently reliable or secret by an incorrect calculation. This has been corrected in this version. Changes as of 30 May 2022 The figures for the month of April 2022 have been added. When are new figures coming? The latest figures shall be published no later than the 30th day following the reporting month.
