Dataset description
This table contains age-specific fertility rates (number of children per woman) by maternal and female birth number. The figures refer to the population of the Netherlands.
Data available: 1935-2020
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table for birth generations 1935-1961 are based entirely on observations. The birth generations since 1962 are based on observations and forecasts.
Changes as of 13 December 2012.
In this new table, the previous forecast has been revised on the basis of the latest insights, the forecast period now runs from 2012 to 2060.
