Dataset description

This table provides an overview of all bankruptcies declared in the Netherlands during the reporting period. In the table, the number of bankruptcies is classified by business activity according to the 2008 Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008). Bankruptcies (total and by industry) are also broken down by legal form. The numbers are not corrected for statements that were later destroyed. Data available from: January 1993 — April 2014 Status of the figures All the figures in this table are final. Changes as of 9 July 2014: None, this table has been discontinued. Up-to-date information about the bankruptcies can be found on statline under the theme, Companies/Companies demography/Failures. When are new figures coming? Not applicable.
