Dataset description

The policy within the National Landscape aims to strengthen the city-country relations and to preserve, manage, develop and experience the landscape core qualities within the so-called protection area and to work from 10 core values from POL2014. The National Landscape is located within the (Euregional) metropolis Liège-Eupen-Aachen-Parkstad-Sittard-Genk-Hasselt-Maastricht as part of the cross-border three-country park. It is a run-out area of cities whose quality of life is important for the South Limburg living and business climate. The area has a high density of cultural historical heritage including many monuments. The unique landscape contributes significantly to the business climate and the quality of living and living of the region.
