Dataset description

This table contains figures on the number of pupils in (special) primary education. In addition, information about pupils in primary education up to and including school year 2018/'19 is available about pupils with a disadvantaged category. The data can be broken down by gender, migration background and residential region. Data available from: 2011/'12. Status of the figures: The figures for the school years from 2011/'12 to 2020/'21 are final and those for the school year 2021/'22 are provisional. Changes as of 24 February 2023: None, this table has been discontinued. The preliminary figures for school year 2021/'22 will no longer be finalised. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. This table is followed up by the table Students in (special) primary education; origin, residential region. See paragraph 3.
