Dataset description

This table contains data on offences recorded by the police. In addition to the absolute number of crimes, the table also shows the number of crimes per 1000 inhabitants in the municipality or region concerned. In addition, the table shows the number of crimes that have since been clarified and the number of suspects registered in these crimes. The figures are broken down by municipality of committing, regional unit, type of crime and year of reporting. The data per municipality is presented for all years according to the municipal classification of 1 January 2015. Data available from 2005 to 2014. Status of the figures It may happen that the municipality of committing within a region is not known. Unknown municipalities within the region are not listed separately, but are included in the total of the region. The figures for the years 2005-2011 are final. The figures for 2012, 2013 and 2014 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive. Changes as of 17 March 2016: None, this table has been discontinued.
