Dataset description

This table contains results on thefts recorded by the police. In addition to the absolute numbers of thefts, the number of thefts per 1000 inhabitants in the municipality or region in question is also included in the table. In addition, the table contains the number of thefts that have now been clarified and the number of suspects registered in the crimes. The figures are broken down by municipality of committing, regional unit, type of theft, use of force and year of reporting. The data per municipality is presented for all years according to the municipal classification of 1 January 2014. Data available from 2005 to 2013. Status of the figures: It may happen that the municipality of committing within a region is not known. Unknown municipalities within the region are not listed separately, but are included in the total of the region. The figures for the years 2005 to 2010 are final. The figures for 2011 to 2013 are (further) provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive. Changes as of 29 April 2015: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. This table is followed by registered thefts; thefts and suspects region (2015 classification). See paragraph 3.
