Dataset description

This table contains data on the remuneration of employees, the wage costs and the volume of labour of employees employed by companies and institutions established in the Netherlands. The remuneration of employees is divided into wages and social contributions borne by employers. Wage costs are the total of wages, social contributions borne by employers and final taxes reduced by wage cost subsidies. The labour volume of workers is given in average number of jobs (by sex), average number of working years, and hours worked per quarter and year. In addition to the original figures, the table contains seasonally adjusted figures of employee remuneration and wages. In addition, compensation for workers, wages and wage costs are given in relation to the average number of working years and hours worked. Data available from: first quarter 1995 to first quarter 2018. Status of the figures: The data from 1995 to 2015 are final. Data from 2016 is provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive. Changes as of 22 June 2018 None, this table has been discontinued. The Central Statistical Office has recently carried out a revision of the national accounts. New statistical sources and estimation methods are used. This table containing data for revision has been replaced by table Remuneration and volume of labour of workers; quarters, national accounts. For additional information see paragraph 3.
