Retail trade; purchase day and season correction, index 2010=100, 2005-Jan.2018

This table provides information on the sales day and seasonally adjusted retail sales (SBI 2008 section 47). Turnover is broken down by value and volume. The data can be further divided into a number of branches according to the Standard Business Classification (SBI) 2008 of CBS. The purchase-day-adjusted developments are available on a monthly basis and displayed as a percentage change from the same period in the preceding year. Seasonally adjusted developments are available on a quarterly basis and displayed as a percentage change from the previous quarter. Data available from January 2017 until January 2018. Status of the figures: The figures for 2018 are provisional, those of the other periods are final. Changes as of 13 June 2018: None, the table has been discontinued. Changes as of 13 January 2017: The November 2016 figures have been added and the previous periods of 2016 may have been adjusted. In addition, the figures of the industries “4772 Shops in shoes and leather goods” and “Shops in care and medical articles” for the period 2005-present were added to the table. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. This table will be discontinued as a result of the five-yearly changeover as of 13 June 2018 and will be followed up by a new table.
