Dataset description

This table gives an overview of the non-financial (current) transactions per period of the various (sub)sectors of the Dutch economy. The figures are presented in the form of resources and spending. In addition, this table also shows the balances of the (sub)sectors. The non-financial accounts are described on the basis of a large number of transactions. Each transaction describes a piece of an economic sub-process, all sub-processes together represent the entire economic process of non-financial transactions. Sub-processes are: the production process, income formation, income distribution, income redistribution, income spending and capital formation. Non-financial transactions are estimated for the main sectors of the economy: non-financial corporations, financial institutions, general government, households, non-profit institutions for households and abroad. Moreover, the sectors of financial institutions and government are still broken down by subsectors. Data available from: Years from 1969 to 2013. Quarters from first quarter 2005 to fourth quarter 2013. Status of the figures: The figures in this table have been final since 1969. The annual and quarterly data for the current year and the two previous years are still provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the provisional data are no longer definitive. Changes as of 25 June 2014: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. This table is followed up by the Sector Accounts table; current transactions to sectors. See paragraph 3.
