Dataset description

This table provides information on the income and wealth of self-employed persons by region. A distinction is made between, on the one hand, the persons for whom the main income is generated from self-employment and, on the other hand, all persons with income from self-employment. The figures in this table are further broken down by type of self-employed activity and by economic activity. Various levels of regional divisions are available, from municipality to country. Reference date of target population, wealth, and municipal breakdown is 1 January of the reporting year. All figures in this table are at person level, including capabilities; (business) assets are determined by household, and are assigned to all persons in the household as a measure of prosperity. Reference date of target population and assets is 1 January of the reporting year. The General Business Register (ABR) is used to determine the SBI of self-employed persons. Data available from 2007 to 2018. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are provisional. Changes as of 3 November 2020: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming?
