Dataset description

For the service industry, this table contains the following: results:number of jobs of employed persons and number of employees; operating profit, operating income and expenses and financial result. In the table the data can be broken down into a number of branches according to CBS’s Standard Business Classification 1993 (SBI'93). Data available from 2006-2008. Status of the figures: All the figures in the table are final. Changes as of 1 September 2011: This table does not go beyond results for the reporting year 2008. Compiling the figures for 2009 is compared to changed to two main sections in previous years: — The 2008 SBI has been applied; — The statistical unit has changed. The above changes are so substantial that the results are not similar to those of previous years and therefore started with a new table from 2009 (see paragraph 3). Changes as of 11 March 2010: In order to provide insight into the development compared to 2005, the core variable turnover for 2005 made comparable as possible with the turnover of 2006 (adjusted for the breach of method).A reference to the table with these data of a large number industries/sectors can be found in section 3.
