Short holidays in the Netherlands; duration, expenditure by holiday characteristics, 2002-2016

This publication includes data of short (1-3 nights) domestic holidays on duration and expenditure according to holiday characteristics. This table was part of the table "Shorte holidays Ned. until 2003; holiday characteristics. Due to better insight, the table is "Shorte Holidays Ned.; holiday characteristics" broken down into 4 separate tables with starting year 2002. A second reason is that the Continu Vakantie Research (CVO) was re-established in 2002. As a result, there is no longer any trend break in the new tables. The four tables are: ‘Short holidays in the Netherlands: duration, Expenditure", ‘Short holidays in the Netherlands: destinations", ‘Short holidays in the Netherlands: forms of accommodation" and ‘Short holidays in the Netherlands: means of transport. Data available from 2002 to 2016. Status of the figures The figures are final Changes as of 23 July 2019: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
