Dataset description

This table presents five social indicators at regional level. The social indicators try to outline the ‘state of youth’ on a broad outline per municipality. The information in this table can then be compared to the youth aid use of a municipality. In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, the National Youth Monitor describes more than 70 topics in addition to these topics. The topics are called indicators. Data available from: It varies per indicator for which year the figures are available. — Children in welfare families: 2014-2016 — Participation 3 rd graders vmbo: 2015/“16 and 2016/”17 — Young people who use alcohol: 2015 — Registered suspects: 2014-2016 — Young people working: 2014-2016. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are definitive with the exception of: — Participation 3 rd graders vmbo, 2015/“16 and 2016/”17 Changes as of 4 December 2018: None, this table has been discontinued. Changes as of 10 October 2018: Changes have been made to the relative figures for children in welfare families and registered suspects. A more logical reference date has been chosen for the total number of persons on which the relative figures have been calculated. In addition, the preliminary figures for 2015 and 2016 of the number of registered suspects have been replaced by definitive ones. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
