Dataset description

This table contains data on church denominations and church visits of believers. This allows for breakdowns by gender, age and educational level. The data are available for both the Caribbean Netherlands and the individual islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. The investigation is a sample examination. This means that the figures shown are estimates, for which reliability margins apply. These margins are also included in the table. The figures refer to persons aged 15 years or older, unless otherwise stated. The Omnibus survey was conducted in 2013 for the first time on Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius in the month of June and the first week of July. The Omnibus survey was conducted for the second time on Bonaire in the months of October and November 2017, and in the period January to March 2018 on Saba and Sint-Eustatius. Data available from: 2013 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 20 August 2018: Figures for 2017/2018 added. Changes as of 18 April 2019: The underlying encodings of the classifications used in this table (Caribbean Netherlands and Marges) have been adjusted. These are now in line with the standard coding established by CBS. The structure and data of the table have not been modified. When are new figures coming? New data appears four-yearly.
