Dataset description

This table contains information on population development on the islands of Bonaire, Saba and St Eustatius due to birth, mortality and foreign migration. The islands of Bonaire, Saba and Sint-Eustatius have been part of the Netherlands as a special municipality from 10 October 2010. The figures on population development in the period 2007-2009 in the table come from Central Bureau of Statistics Netherlands Antilles and Island Registries (CBS-NA). The figures on population development from 2010 onwards come from Central Bureau of Statistics in the Netherlands (CBS). Data available from 2007 to 2015. Status of the figures: All the figures in the table are final. In the years 2007 and 2008, the number of deceased persons for Saba and Saint Eustatius was estimated. As a result, the numbers of population growth of those islands in 2008 do not correspond to the figures of 31 December 2008 and 1 January 2009. Changes as of 26 March 2018: This table has been discontinued. The table is followed by the Caribbean Netherlands; population development, birth, mortality and migration, see the link in paragraph 3. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
